Giraffe coloring page
The giraffe is covered in spots, and there are quite a few of them. It is the only one of the ten free pages where the small areas are spread across the whole drawing instead of sitting in one place.
There is no need to color each spot on its own. A child who is just starting can fill the giraffe with one color and pay no attention to the spots. Later the same page can be printed again and the spots colored separately.
The neck and the legs are narrow, so they call for steadier movements than the large areas on the elephant or the bear. That makes the giraffe a good next step after the simplest pages.
The main outline measures 2.4 to 4.8 mm, and the giraffe fills roughly 70 to 82 percent of the page and sits in the center. There is no background, no trees, no frame and nothing else around it.
Under the picture is the word GIRAFFE in large outline letters. It can be colored too, and an adult can say the word out loud and point to it while the child colors.

- Thick crayons work well on the large areas
- The spots do not have to be colored one by one
- Colored pencils are handy for the individual spots
