Mermaid coloring page
Most of the picture is taken up by two large areas, the long hair and the tail. A child can fill them with wide strokes. The tail carries small scale markings, so the same page works at two levels of difficulty.
A child who is just starting can simply color the tail as one shape, without trying to fill each scale. Later the same page can be printed again and the small parts colored separately.
The main outline measures 2.4 to 4.8 mm, and the mermaid fills roughly 70 to 82 percent of the page and sits in the center. There is no sea, no fish, no plants and no frame around her, only one large mermaid.
